Miami International Airport (MIA)
Airlines and Terminals

(Miami, Florida - FL, USA)

Miami International Airport (MIA) is served by many domestic and international airlines, being originally named Wilcox Field. It currently serves as something of a hub for both American Airlines and Executive Airlines (through American Eagle).

With three terminal areas and six concourse areas at MIA, airlines usually board from their designated concourse. The main terminal building dates all the way back to the end of the 1950s and is semi-circular in its shape. Level 1 is where you will find the luggage carousels and access to ground transport, while on Level 2 are the check-in desks, as well as various shops and eateries.

Concourse D (the North Terminal) deals solely with domestic flights. All of the other concourses handle domestic and international journeys. Both Concourse E and J are home to customs and immigration.
